CT & MA Workers Compensation
If you were hurt at work then you might need physical therapy to help you get back to work. My PT bills directly with worker’s compensation insurance companies. There are no contracts involved. This gives Dr. Tom total freedom to treat injured workers as he indicates, within a small set of visit guidelines he must follow.
If you need more visits and there is a medical necessity, Dr. Tom will advocate for your full return to prior level of function. The injured worker stigma impacts the injured worker population and low reimbursement rates limit participating physical therapy providers. This creates a gap in the healthcare system that Dr. Tom takes on as a professional mission to be there for the injured worker. Click to learn more about Worker’s Compensation for CT and MA.
